Services

I am an out-of-network provider and do not file insurance claims on behalf of my clients, however that doesn't necessarily mean you can't use your insurance to help cover session costs! 

 

If you have health insurance and would like to file for reimbursement on your own behalf, I will provide a SuperBill and all required documentation for you to complete your own claim. If you are not sure how to file a claim on your own behalf, check out the Insurance Information tab for more guidance and helpful tips.

What to expect... Talk Therapy

Your First Session

Your first therapy session is considered an "assessment". This session is going to look different than the rest of your treatment as its an opportunity to get to know you (and for you to get to know me), what your concerns are, and what strengths you already have to work with. During this session it may feel more like an interview than therapy, but its important for me to gather as much information as possible to help you identify your goals for treatment and a roadmap of how to get there.

Follow Up Sessions

Follow up sessions are focused on reviewing the previous week, identifying any changes that you made or noticed, exploring new insights you may have, identifying thoughts, feelings, and behavior patterns that are not serving your best interest, and coming up with solutions. That being said, every client and every situation is different! We will find a rhythm and approach that works for you. 

Paying for Sessions

Session fees will be collected on the date of service and charged to the credit card on file unless otherwise discussed during session. You will be provided a detailed invoice that you can submit to your insurance carrier for out-of-network reimbursement. Cancellations that occur less than 24 hours in advance and no shows may result in a fee of $50 that will be charged to the card on file at the time of the scheduled visit.

What to expect... Meditation Coaching Sessions

Your First Session

Your first coaching session will consist of a brief intake to gather important information that will help guide our sessions. We will review your exposure/experience with meditation and mindfulness, and an overview of the fundamentals of practice and the benefit to overall well-being. We will wrap up with a guided meditation to gauge your current practice and areas of focus. 

Follow Up Sessions

Follow up sessions will start with a review of your process between sessions and exploration of new insights. We can identify where you felt you succeeded and areas for improvement. We will then dive deeper into a fundamental meditation approach and practice this approach in session together. We will wrap up with a quick check in, review of material, and goal setting for the next session.

Stand alone meditation coaching is NOT reimbursable through insurance companies. Cancellations that occur less than 24 hours in advance and no shows may result in a fee of $50 that will be charged to the card on file at the time of the scheduled visit.
