ABOUT
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan.

My approach to therapy is person centered. I meet my clients where they are at in a non-judgemental, safe setting where they are supported in their emotional journey to healing. Therapy is not cookie cutter and what works for some does not work for everyone. I come to each therapeutic relationship with a clean slate so we can work together to find what works for you.

What are your specialties?
My experience varies from general life stress, anxiety, and depression to trauma, grief, difficult life transitions, and existential concerns.
I have a passion for working with complex trauma and attachment as well as the unique struggles with acquired brain injury, stroke, or other sudden onset conditions.
Additionally, I have experience working with athletes on sports performance concerns, return to sport anxiety, and the loss of identity when one's athletic career is coming to a close.

I currently serve as an Adjunct Professor at Old Dominion University where I teach the next generation of physical therapists and athletic trainers the importance of considering mental health and psychosocial aspects of care in medical treatment.
